We need water to live. We need water to grow. We need water to cleanse. At Root Science, we understand the importance of water. From the cultivation of every amazing ingredient contained within each Root Science bottle, to the clean water needed for a proper skin care routine, water is a true necessity. To many, clean water may simply be an afterthought, something we rarely think about — however, there are 800 million people on the planet who don’t have clean water. For a clearer picture, that’s one in nine people in this world that don’t have access to this very basic need.

charity: water is a remarkable non-profit organization bringing clean, safe drinking water to people in developing countries around the world, through funded water projects.
What sets charity: water apart from the crowd, in our opinion, is that unlike many charities, where you may not know where your donation is actually going, charity: water is revolutionizing the charity space. At charity: water, 100% of all public donations go directly toward funding water projects, while private donors fund all operating costs. To take it one step further, they geo-track all donations using a GPS device and map. The end result: one’s donation (all the way down to the very last dollar) can be tracked to a specific location and project. This is true transparency at its finest, and a value that we share here at Root Science.
